People who want to convert their civil partnership into a Marriage visa, instead they should get a Standard Visitor visa.If you plan to travel to the UK on 16 June, for example, then you can start the application process from 17 March. Three months before your visit is the earliest application date. The cost of the Marriage Visitor visa application is £95. This visa allows you to visit the UK during the next 6 months.When you apply for a Marriage Visitor visa from outside the UK, you are guaranteed to get the decision on your visa within three weeks (15 working days) after the application. If you need your visa decision faster, you can use a priority service or a super-priority service that can be available in some countries of application. A Marriage Visitor visa does not allow you: to bring your family members with you, including dependents – they must apply for themselves; stay in the UK for long periods through frequent visits; switch to another type of UK visa, or extend your  Marriage Visitor visa. 

According to the rules of a Marriage Visitor visa application, study and work are also forbidden. You can only study for less than 30 days and this study cannot be the main reason for your visit to the UK. You can also demonstrate any other proof that you are planning to get married or enter into a civil partnership in the UK.
